When choosing a foundation for your new home or addition, there are several different options. The most common options are listed below:
Poured Walls: A typical poured wall foundation consists of 8” of solid concrete the entire height of the foundation. Insulation is usually installed on the exterior of the home below grade to assist with temperature control.
Permaform Insulated walls: A typical Permaform foundation consists of 8” of solid concrete in between 1 ½” thick insulation. This insulation acts as a form during the pouring process, and an insulation factor after the pour. Interior finishing is easily completed after the pour due to striping in the foam that will accept screws holding a wall finish.
NUDURA Insulated walls: A typical NUDURA foundation consists of 8” of solid concrete in between 2 ½” thick insulation. This insulation acts as a form during the pouring process, and an insulation factor after the pour. Interior finishing is easily completed after the pour due to striping in the foam that will accept screws holding a wall finish
